Join us for a thoughtful and engaging educational session with Rev. Stephen Garrett, as he explores the unique ways men experience and express grief. For generations, many men have been taught to “be strong” and suppress their emotions. In this interactive session, Stephen will examine how these messages have shaped men’s relationship with grief and offer practical, compassionate ways to foster healthier expressions of loss and healing in community.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the roots of stoicism, discover meaningful ways men can support one another through grief, and explore how we can model healthy grieving for future generations.
This 90-minute interactive session is designed for End-of-Life Doulas, caregivers, and anyone interested in creating more supportive, grief-informed communities.
